My professional journey began in the business world of franchising, but I quickly discovered that I wanted to help people in a more connected way. Since then I have worked in the field of mental health for nearly two decades and I end each day rewarded by seeing the growth, and frankly— the joy— in clients. Before opening my own, full time private practice, I gained extensive experience working in an IOP (Intensive Outpatient program), as a Crisis Counselor in a school setting, and as a clinician at a community mental health agency. I hold a Masters in Clinical Counseling Psychology from FDU, SAC, and Guidance Counselor certifications. No one is immune from the pressures and stressors of everyday life. Whether it’s navigating work or school, the dynamics of family, the ups and downs of friendship, quieting the noise of anxiety or wrestling free from the pull of depression, I create a space where teens and adults can find real growth. Through a combination of talk therapy, but also concrete, evidence-based therapies, I help my clients work through issues and reach personal goals.
